T Cab Mobility source-linked commentary · Published · Reviewed
Different services should not be treated as one model
Waymo’s official rider pages describe its own market-specific services. The cited WeRide and Grab announcement provides Singapore context, where route-based shuttle services must not be confused with unrestricted point-to-point robotaxi bookings. The service area, supervision arrangements and passenger rules depend on the particular operator and location.
Operating information takes priority over old launch reporting
A launch announcement is a historical source, not necessarily the current booking policy. Riders should consult the official operating information for their city before relying on availability or boarding rules. The review date of this commentary does not turn an undated operating-page figure into a newly measured statistic, and no fleet or utilisation estimate is inferred here.
Australian readiness remains a separate question
Overseas operating examples can inform questions about charging, cleaning, maintenance coordination and vehicle handover. They do not prove Australian approval or a T Cab relationship. T Cab is a prospective Sydney ground-operations partner and claims no affiliation, endorsement or contract with Alphabet, Google, Waymo, WeRide, Grab or Uber.
